A great time was had by all at The Futurity 2006. The weekend started off with the 1st Annual Futurity Banquet and Charity Auction Supporting Quechua Benefit raised over $200,000.00. Quechua Benefit is the alpaca industry's leading charity providing dentistry, education and health care to the alpaca raising regions of Peru.
Saturday was an amazing day. The Futurity 2006 Sale produced a record setting average for an Alpaca Consignment Sale of $42,000.00. The average Huacaya price was $41,000, and the average Suri price was $43,500. Smiles all around!
A tough act to follow, but the The Futurity 2006 Show was no less exciting. We thank all who attended and look forward to seeing your pictures here next year.
